L-Methiocid Feline is a complementary feed for cats whose diet should support the maintenance of physiological urinary pH. It contains L-methionine, a sulfur amino acid that, when included in the diet, can contribute to the production of urine with the appropriate pH. The formula has been enriched with flavor ingredients, making the product readily accepted even by cats with special dietary preferences.

The L-Methiocid Feline formula was developed for cats in which there is a need to support the diet with ingredients that contribute to maintaining a slightly acidic urinary reaction. The formula is enriched with beef flavoring to improve sensory properties.

L-methionine is a sulfur amino acid essential to cats’ diets. It acts as a precursor to many important biological compounds, including taurine, cysteine and glutathione. It can support normal metabolic processes, especially those related to sulfur metabolism and methylation.
